On November 5, 2025, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 east of Bonifay in connection with a road rage incident.
During the stop, the driver of the vehicle became irate and began exhibiting irrational behavior before experiencing chest pains and collapsing.
Deputies immediately initiated CPR until EMS arrived and took over care. The individual was transported to Doctors Memorial Hospital Emergency Room for further treatment.
Out of respect for the family, no names will be released at this time.
