The Jackson County, Florida Board of Commissioners made the decision, in response to an agenda item at the Wednesday, November 12, 2025 monthly Board meeting, to terminate the contract with current Jackson County Attorney Michelle Jordan, at the end of a long and contentious discussion, inclusive of a few thinly-veiled threats of retaliation at the ballot box.
