Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence on Gavin Road on November 26, 2025, after the victim reported that two batteries had been stolen from his camper.
During the investigation, deputies made contact with the suspect, identified as Rudolph Campagna, at his residence. Campagna initially denied involvement; however, he later admitted to taking the batteries and returned the stolen property.
While speaking with Campagna, deputies observed drug paraphernalia commonly used to ingest methamphetamine in plain view. Campagna was taken into custody and charged with burglary, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
