Alvin Jackson Bruner, 73 of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on July 1, 2025 at his residence.
Alvin was born on February 3, 1952 in Chipley, Florida to Richard and Marie Bruner. Alvin enjoyed spending time outdoor on his farm tending to his cattle. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Marie Bruner; brother: Calvin Bruner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years: Sherry A. Bruner of Fountain, FL; son: Sidney Johnson and Wife Desiree of Bristol, FL; sisters: Alberta Bruner Golden of Altha, FL, Katheryn Price of Enterprise, AL; brothers: John and Wife Sara Faye “Sally” Bruner of Chipley, FL, William Bruner of Chipley, FL; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Service will be held 3 PM Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Sandy Mountain Church in Fountain, Florida with Pastor Shane Obert officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
