Anthony Kevin Sloan, 53 of Graceville, Florida peacefully passed from this life on July 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with extensive illness.
Kevin was born on February 3, 1973, in Key West, Florida, to Frank Edward Sloan and Glenda Brannon Sloan. His family later moved to Graceville, Florida, where he attended Graceville High School and graduated, Class of 1992.
Later, Kevin moved to Dothan, AL, where he worked in the restaurant industry and developed lasting connections and friendships over the years. He had a passion for art and music and loved to use drawing and painting to express his artistic creativity and unique perspective.
Above all, Kevin cherished his friendships, and family. The love, support, and presence received throughout his illness meant so much to him and brought him comfort and peace.
Kevin will be remembered for his quiet strength, and a genuine heart that cared greatly for others. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father: Frank Edward Sloan and sister: Lori Monfort.
He is survived by his mother: Glenda Brannon Sloan of Graceville, Florida; brother: Gregory Sloan of Graceville, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service for the immediate family will be held at a later date, with Obert Funeral Home and Whispering Pines Crematory of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.

Cancer did not win, because Kevin won a crown.
