The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Joshua Brown. On April 21st, 2025 the Bay County Sheriff’s Office received a report that Brown engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile Victim.
The Victim made a disclosure to a Witness that while at Browns residence, Brown exposed his genitalia and proceeded to instruct and make the Victim perform a sexual act.
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division was notified and took over the investigation.
With the assistance of our local partners at the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center’s, and the Department of Children and Families, an interview was conducted with the Victim. During this interview, additional disclosures were made by the Victim.
Brown was shortly after located at his residence and during an interview did not deny the claims made against him.
Brown was charged with Capital Sexual Battery, Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, Lewd and Lascivious Conduct, and booked into the Bay County Jail.
