The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Bay County man following an investigation into the alleged possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
The investigation began after information was received indicating that 60-year-old Juan Angel Andrada was possibly in possession of child sexual abuse material.
As part of the investigation, Bay County Sheriff’s Office investigators worked alongside Homeland Security Investigators (HSI) to develop probable cause for a search warrant. The search warrant was executed at Andrada’s residence on Transmitter Road, where investigators seized numerous electronic devices for forensic examination.
As a result of the investigation, Juan Angel Andrada has been charged with 15 counts of Possession of Sexual Performance by a Child.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Additional charges are anticipated pending the forensic examination of the electronic devices seized during the execution of the search warrant.
