Charles A. Cutchins 90, of Cottondale, Florida went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.
Charles was born on June 11, 1935, to Andrew Cutchins and Ethel Simmons in Cottondale, Florida. He worked for the Jackson County School Board in the maintenance department and retired after many years of dedicated service. Charles loved the Lord and was a faithful deacon and devoted member of Sapp Church in Cottondale. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, gardening, and doing carpentry work. Above all, Charles dearly loved his family, and he will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Inell Cutchins; parents: Andrew and Ethel Cutchins; brothers: Oland Cutchins, Orin Cutchins, Carl Cutchins; sisters: Vera Holmes, Erie Braxton, Myrtle Justice.
He is survived by his sons: David Cutchins (Martha) of Cottondale, Florida, Donald Cutchins (Pamela) of Cottondale, Florida; brother: James Ray Cutchins (Judy) of Cottondale, Florida; sister: Elizabeth Finch of Cottondale, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Service will be held 11 AM Friday, January 30, 2026 at Sapp Church in Cottondale, Florida with Bro. Shane Obert and Bro. Chubby Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Sapp Church Cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
