We are watching a thunderstorm north of Hwy 388 that is moving toward the West Bay area.
The primary threats with this storm are frequent lightning and heavy rainfall. If you’re in its path, be prepared for a quick downpour and a few rumbles of thunder.
Meanwhile, the sea breeze continues to push inland and could spark a few additional showers and storms over the next hour or two before activity begins to wind down this evening.
As always, if you can hear thunder, you’re close enough to be struck by lightning. Head indoors and wait for the storm to pass.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on things and let you know if anything changes.
