The City of Graceville has announced a special commission meeting for this upcoming Tuesday, July 29 to address Graceville Police Department proposed salary for the 2026 Fiscal Year and Level of Service. The meeting will begin at 5:30 PM and will be held at Graceville City Hall.
According to the 2024-2025 Proposed Budget (from the September 2024 Budget Workshop) the Graceville Police Department received the most funding towards salaries with an estimated $346,485 of the department budget going to salaries. This is the highest amount in department budgets coming in above department budgets in Wastewater Treatment Plant/Sewer ($288,218.40), City Administration ($265,912.00), Streets ($226,136.00), Recreation ($120,564.80), and Water ($41,267.20) during the 2024-2025 budget workshop. Please note these numbers were retrieved from the 2024-2025 Proposed Operating Budget packet provided by the City to the newspaper in September 2024.
