David Lynn Holt, 59, formerly of Lavon, Texas, recently of Cottondale, Florida, passed away on March 15, 2026.
David was born on February 23, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to Gary Michael Holt and Charlotte Gibson. David enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, riding his motorcycle on open roads, visiting museums, and capturing life’s moments through photography. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Gibson, and brothers: Michael Holt, John Holt, and Robert Holt.
He is survived by his father, Gary Michael Holt (Suzzanne) of Cottondale, FL, brother, Jack Mitchell, and sons: Joshua Holt of Oklahoma, Colt Holt of Texas, and Nicholas Holt of Virginia.
