Debra Kay Long, aged 63, of Chipley, Florida, went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 29, 2025.
Debby was born on March 14, 1962, to Orville and Kathy Bremer in Pipestone, Minnesota. Debby spent her early years in Pipestone, Minnesota, before her family relocated to Chipley in 1978. Debby graduated from Chipley High School in 1980 and primarily held positions in the medical billing field throughout her professional career.
In 1994, Debby’s life was forever changed with the birth of her son Cody, whom she loved dearly. After prolonged health issues and a cancer diagnosis in 2023, Debby resided with her son Cody, his wife Jennifer, and their three children, Keira, Kaylin, and Kinsley. Debby attended Grace Assembly of Chipley in Chipley, Florida, and enjoyed the fellowship with her church family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, but most of all, she loved and lived for spending as much quality time with her family and friends as possible.
Debby is preceded in death by her father, Orville Bremer. Debby is survived by her son Cody and wife Jennifer, and granddaughters Keira, Kaylin, and Kinsley, mother, Kathy Bremer, brothers Doyle Bremer (Cindy) and David Bremer (Terri), sister Deanna Hutchison (Kirk), and several nieces and nephews.
Debby lived her life with a love and passion for everyone she held dear, and she will be loved and remembered with the same abiding love.
A celebration of Debby’s life will be held at Grace Assembly of Chipley in Chipley, Florida, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, visitation at 10:00 am and, service at 11:00 am, with Pastor Dallas Pettis officiating. Interment will follow at First Assembly of God Cemetery in Cottondale, Florida.
