Drivers will encounter traffic disruptions on the following state roads in Washington and Holmes counties as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.
Holmes County:
- U.S. 90 Resurfacing from Walton County Line to east of CSX Railroad – Motorists may encounter intermittent daytime lane closures Monday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 21 for paving operations.
Washington County:
- Interstate 10 Bridge Rehabilitation over Choctawhatchee River – Motorists may encounter intermittent daytime lane closures Monday, Feb. 17 through Friday, Feb. 21 for construction operations.
- State Road (S.R.) 77 from Bay County Line to north of Moss Hill Road – S.R. 77 southbound drivers may encounter intermittent daytime lane closures beginning Friday, Feb. 14 through Monday, Feb. 17 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Grassy Pond Road to just north of the Bay County line. This lane closure is necessary for crews to complete construction activities within the area in preparation for the final traffic configuration. Advanced warning signs, traffic control devices, and traffic flagmen will assist in directing motorists through the work area.
- S.R. 77 widening north of Rodgers Road to south of Cane Mill Road – S.R. 77 northbound drivers may encounter intermittent daytime lane closures beginning Monday, Feb. 17 through Monday, Feb. 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from just north of the Bay County line to Blocker Church Road. This lane closure is necessary for crews to complete construction activities within the area in preparation for the final traffic configuration. Advanced warning signs, traffic control devices, and traffic flagmen will assist in directing motorists through the work area.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
