Construction continues on a 3.5-mile segment of State Road (S.R.) 77, between Rogers Road and Cane Mill Road in Washington County.
Crews are hard at work extending the drainage structure next to the bridge over Reedy Creek as part of the ongoing roadway widening.
The area has been excavated to make room for the new culvert sections, with riprap placed for erosion control and grading underway to tie the new lanes into the existing bridge. Each step brings the expanded roadway one step closer to reality!
This work is part of the $56 million S.R. 77 Widening project that is underway from Rodgers Road to Cane Mill Road, in Wausau. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2028.
