Glenda Marie Ramer, age 64 of Bonifay, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at her home in Bonifay, Florida.
Marie, as she was affectionately known, was born on July 31, 1961, to the late Franklin and Glenda Summerlin. In 1993, she began her lifelong career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. For over 30 years, she dedicated her life to the care, comfort, and well-being of others, working with a profound sense of duty and compassion.
Above all, Marie was a deeply loving mother to her two sons, Brandon Ramer and the late Brenton Swindle. Her family was her greatest joy, and she will be remembered for the immense love she had for them.
Marie is survived by her son, Brandon Ramer and daughter-in-law, Tesha Ramer; Her sisters, Melissa Hood, Sheila Harris (Martin), and Sharon Kent; Her grandchildren, Braiden, Blake, Christa, and Isaiah; Her nieces and nephews, Ashley Harris (Doug), Kyle Hood, Haylee Whitehead (Dustin), and Austin Kent; Her great-neices and great-nephews, Kaleb, Addison, Todd, Harper, Easton, Peyton, Isabella, Harvey, and Mattie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Glenda Summerlin; her brother, Danny Summerlin; and her beloved son, Brenton Swindle.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her.
A Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Bonifay Cemetery with Interment to follow service with Sims Funeral Home Directing.
