Graceville, Florida City Election Planned For April 14, 2026

Graceville residents will head to the polls on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, as the City of Graceville holds its municipal election to select two members of the City Commission. Candidate qualifying has officially ended, and the final list of candidates was reported by the city clerk at the close of the qualifying period.

Voters will decide two races in this election. In the City Commissioner Group II race, candidates Walter L. Olds and Velma L. Wright will appear on the ballot. The City Commissioner Group IV race will feature Gary Abbott and Samantha Angerbrandt. Both seats carry two year terms.

Polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Graceville City Hall, located at 5348 Cliff Street. All residents of the City of Graceville wishing to vote in the election must be registered by Monday, March 16, 2026. Florida election law requires voter registration to close 29 days prior to any election.

Public Logic and Accuracy Testing of the election tabulation equipment will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 9 a.m. at the Jackson County Supervisor of Elections Office, located at 2851 Jefferson Street in Marianna. This testing is open to the public, and residents are invited to attend and observe.

Vote by Mail requests for the Graceville City Election will be handled directly by the Jackson County Supervisor of Elections Office. Voters may request a Vote by Mail ballot in person at the Supervisor of Elections Office in Marianna, by phone at 850 482 9652, or online at www.VoteJacksonFL.gov.

The deadline to request a Vote by Mail ballot is April 2, 2026, by 5 p.m. Completed ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, April 14, 2026.Voter registration applications are available at Graceville City Hall and at the Jackson County Supervisor of Elections Office, and voters may also register online at www.VoteJacksonFL.gov.

Residents are encouraged to verify their registration status and make a plan to vote ahead of the upcoming election.
