Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Announces ‘Teen Driver Challenge’ on Saturday, August 23, 2025

Holmes County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce our Teen Driver Challenge, happening Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the HCSO office.

This FREE course is designed to give teenage drivers the skills and confidence they need to stay safe behind the wheel. Participants will receive hands-on instruction from certified law enforcement driving instructors covering defensive driving techniques, accident avoidance, and much more.

Who can attend?

-Teens between the ages of 15-19 (15 years old with a restricted license and at least 6 months of driving or 16 years old with a License)

What’s required?

-Access to a safe vehicle

-Proof of insurance for the vehicle operated

-Child and Parent must sign a waiver of liability before taking this course
