On March 25, 2026, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by a juvenile on Hwy 79.
During the stop, the deputy developed probable cause to search the vehicle. A search revealed a black backpack containing four quart-sized plastic bags of marijuana.
The juvenile driver and passenger, identified as Arienana Johnson, stated they were traveling to Panama City to sell the marijuana. Deputies also located electronic scales and additional drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Both individuals were taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
