On January 1, 2026, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) conducted a traffic stop on a truck traveling on Comet Lane. The vehicle was driven by Brandon Batson.
During the stop, Batson provided deputies with consent to search the vehicle. While conducting the search, deputies located approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine inside a toolbox.
Batson was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
