Search Warrant Leads to Meth Trafficking Arrest
On March 5, 2026, in the early morning hours, investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Michigan Avenue in Bonifay, Florida that was suspected of distributing methamphetamine.
Upon entry, the resident, Brenda Gayle Forehand, was detained while investigators conducted a search of the residence.
Located on the nightstand next to where Forehand had been sleeping was a glass pipe containing methamphetamine. Investigators also located several individually packaged baggies containing methamphetamine inside a closet, with a total weight of over 14 grams.
Forehand was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
