On October 3, 2025, a Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 2. During the stop, K9 Paycheck was deployed for a free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a plastic container containing methamphetamine inside a purse belonging to passenger Brittany Sanchez. Sanchez was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
