Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Christian Crook for Methamphetamine, Fleeing, Suspended, Etc.

On April 7, 2026, investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office observed a black Nissan Altima in the area of Dollar General on Highway 160. The vehicle matched the description of one being operated by known fugitive Christian Crook.

When investigators attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle fled, initiating a pursuit. The pursuit traveled down Highway 160 onto McCarnley Road, crossed Highway 173, continued down DG Worley Road, and then north onto North Holmes Creek Road. The pursuit continued north on Reddick Mill Road to the intersection of Highway 173, where additional deputies were positioned and successfully forced the vehicle off the roadway.

The driver, identified as Christian Crook, was taken into custody without further incident.

Crook had multiple outstanding warrants, including three counts of possession of a controlled substance, as well as charges of escape, resisting without violence, and felony battery. In addition to the outstanding warrants, she now faces additional charges of fleeing and attempting to elude, reckless driving, attaching a tag not assigned, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended.
