Friday evening, HCSO deputies responded to a residence on Highway 179 in reference to a stabbing incident.
During the altercation, the victim, who was the suspect’s boyfriend, was stabbed multiple times in the arm and shoulder area with a knife.
Deputies located the suspect, Jennifer Darley, inside the residence with the doors locked. After a brief period, she eventually exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident.
The victim was transported by Holmes County EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Jennifer Darley was charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
