Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Jeremy Davis for Burglary

Posted on January 24, 2026

In October 2025, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputies took a report of a burglary that occurred on Johnson Road in Holmes County. The case was assigned to an investigator with the Criminal Investigations Division (CID).

In January 2026, the HCSO investigator was contacted by an investigator with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office regarding possible suspects connected to the burglary. Washington County deputies subsequently obtained a search warrant for a residence in their county, where property stolen during the Johnson Road burglary was located and recovered.

Through interviews with the suspects and further investigation, HCSO investigators obtained arrest warrants for Jeremy Davis, of Panama City, and Terry Brady, of Chipley, charging both individuals with Burglary and Grand Theft.

Both suspects are currently in custody and awaiting extradition back to Holmes County.

Sheriff Tate would like to thank the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance, stating, “This case highlights the importance of strong cooperation between law enforcement agencies. We appreciate the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for their teamwork and assistance in helping recover stolen property and bring those responsible to justice.”
