A traffic stop conducted by a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy resulted in a drug arrest on Highway 81 near Interstate 10.
During the stop, initiated due to an equipment violation, K9 Timex conducted a free air sniff around the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a black case under the passenger seat, where Joshua Johnson was seated. Inside the case, deputies found a glass pipe and a plastic bag containing methamphetamine.
Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Thia is so sad. So many people, so little help. As a recovering addict myself, this is pitiful. People need redemption. People need care. The world is dying because of people like this beautiful soul wasting away with the devil. People are in pain and without any outlet how are they supposed to heal?
