On March 30, 2025, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy observed a vehicle stopped in the middle of Gavin Road. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Justin Blankenship.
While speaking with Blankenship, the deputy observed two firearms in plain view on the passenger seat. K9 Times was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search of Blankenship’s person revealed a small plastic baggie containing methamphetamine.
Further investigation of the vehicle uncovered additional narcotics and paraphernalia, including THC wax, glass smoking pipes, and a bowl containing methamphetamine.
Blankenship was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.
