Search Warrant Leads to Drug Arrest in Holmes County
On March 11, 2025, investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at 111 Raley Drive after receiving information regarding illegal drug activity and the presence of a wanted individual.
Upon arrival, investigators made contact with the homeowner, Kelly Deas, and explained the reason for their visit. Deas granted permission for investigators to enter the residence to search for the wanted subject.
While inside, investigators observed a mirror on a nightstand with a white powdery substance believed to be methamphetamine. Additionally, a glass smoking pipe commonly used for ingesting methamphetamine was found in plain view on another table.
Deas was detained, and the residence was secured while a search warrant was obtained and executed. Investigators collected evidence, leading to Deas’s arrest on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
