Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Local Pastor Randon Carroll for Sexual Battery

Early this morning, investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office arrested local pastor Randon Carroll on charges of sexual battery on a child.

Investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office regarding an incident involving a juvenile after a parent discovered concerning messages on the child’s phone allegedly sent by Carroll.

Investigators met with Walton County authorities at the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center in Niceville, where the child was interviewed and disclosed that Carroll had engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with them.

Following the interview, HCSO investigators traveled to Carroll’s residence, where he was interviewed regarding the allegations. During the interview, Carroll confessed to the incident.

Carroll was arrested and charged with sexual battery on a child. The investigation is still ongoing and more charges could be forthcoming.
