On February 13, 2025, a deputy with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a blue Jeep at the Big Boss store in Ponce de Leon for an expired tag.
The driver, identified as Mario Luna, consented to a search of his person, which led to the discovery of methamphetamine in the watch pocket of his jeans. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed an additional bag of methamphetamine inside a cigarette pack located in the center console.
Luna was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
