On February 12, 2025, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies, in collaboration with the Bonifay Police Department, conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge pickup truck traveling on Bonifay-Chipley Road.
During the stop, the driver, later identified as Victoria Wakefield, provided deputies with a false name. K9 Timex was deployed to conduct a free-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search of Wakefield’s person revealed two plastic baggies containing methamphetamine.
Further investigation determined that Wakefield had active warrants out of Washington County and was driving without a valid license.
Wakefield was arrested and charged with possession of Methamphetamine, driving While License Suspended, and providing False Information to Law Enforcement
