On January 7, 2026, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) took a report of a stolen vehicle from the Noma area.
Officers with the Hartford Police Department located the vehicle abandoned in Hartford, Alabama. Through further investigation, it was determined that Jerry Mann of Hartford stole the truck from Noma and drove it to Hartford.
Mann was arrested in Hartford on outstanding warrants. Holmes County Sheriff’s Office investigators will be obtaining warrants charging Mann with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Hartford Police Department for their assistance in the recovery of the vehicle and for their help in resolving this case.
