On December 30, 2025, a deputy with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to Line Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle partially in the roadway and a ditch.
Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the driver, Katherine Thompson, who was found passed out inside the vehicle. Holmes County EMS responded to the scene and medically cleared Thompson.
A search of Thompson’s person was conducted, during which deputies located a small plastic baggie containing methamphetamine. Thompson was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Holmes County Jail.
