On Monday, May 5, 2025, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) Narcotics Investigators were conducting surveillance at the home of Erik Leronn Gammons, also known as “E-bay,” in Marianna, when they saw a vehicle belonging to one of Gammons’ associates leave the driveway.
Investigators witnessed a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop. Gammons immediately exited the rear passenger’s side of the vehicle and put his hands behind his back as if he were under arrest. Gammons then stated that there were drugs inside the vehicle.
When a search of the vehicle was conducted, Investigators located approximately 4 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 1 pound of cocaine, digital scales, and plastic sandwich bags used to package drugs for resale. In the same place Investigators found the drugs, they also located documents addressed to Gammons.
Gammons was arrested on drug related charges stemming from an earlier JCSO investigation. He was also found to be in possession approximately $2,761 in numerous denominations. It was determined Gammons was recently released from prison for charges related to drug distribution and is a convicted felon.
Gammons is initially being charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances.
Sheriff Edenfield would like to thank the United States Attorney’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration for their assistance in this case.
