A proactive traffic stop by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office early this morning resulted in the arrest of a driver on multiple drug charges.
At approximately 2:33 a.m., a deputy conducted a stop for a traffic violation in the area of South Street and Highway 73. The driver, identified as Grant Eugene Rosborough, was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
During the course of the investigation, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle. A K-9 assisted during the investigation. Deputies located approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and Hydrocodone pills without a valid prescription. Additional Hydrocodone pills were also found on Rosborough.
Rosborough was arrested and charged with:
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
