On Tuesday, January 14, at approximately 12:40 a.m., the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) received a call regarding a burglary alarm at Blondies in Grand Ridge.
Upon arrival, JCSO deputies and a Sneads Police Officer saw the front door had been shattered and an ATM was missing from inside the business.
Through investigative techniques, the JCSO Criminal Investigation Division identified one of the suspects as Shawn Robinson and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On Monday, February 3, Robinson turned himself in at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Robinson is being charged with Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure, Grand Theft, and two counts of Criminal Mischief.
This incident is still under investigation and more charges are forthcoming.
