On Sunday, June 1, 2025, around 9:30 a.m., Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were patrolling the Grand Ridge area when they saw a vehicle being driven around the parking lot of a local gas station.
When the driver of the vehicle saw the deputy, the car was quickly parked, and the passenger exited the vehicle.
Deputies recognized the passenger to be Tori Elizabeth Owens, who they knew to have felony warrants out of Jackson and Gadsden Counties. Deputies arrested Owens for her active warrants.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located an empty cigarette pack containing a plastic baggie with methamphetamine and documents with Owens’ name on them.
In addition to her active warrants, Owens is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
