On Friday, June 13, 2025, around 9 a.m., Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies, were attempting to serve a warrant on Obert Road in Cottondale when they came in contact with Chase Michael Howard, who also had violent felony warrants.
Howard fled from deputies on foot. Deputies established a perimeter and the JCSO K9 Tracking Unit was called to the scene to assist in locating Howard.
A track was quickly established, and Howard was located approximately two hours later.
Howard will be transported back to Bay County to face charges.
