Jerrie Lynn Crews, 76 Passes on February 16, 2026 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital

Jerrie Lynn Crews, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on February 16, 2026, at Northwest Florida Community Hospital. She was born on December 13, 1949, in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Jerrie devoted her life to her family, nurturing deep connections with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Wray Foor and her husband Daryl; son, Jonathan P. Crews and his wife Nicole; and daughter, Jodi Crews Pettis and her husband Craig and one sister, Judy (Suggs) Walsh. Her legacy will continue through her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Foor, Dylan Foor, Kylee Crews, Macy Crews, and Taylin Crews, who will carry forward her spirit of kindness and love.  She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A longtime member of St. Andrews Baptist Church, Jerrie’s faith played a central role in her life. She valued her church family dearly and often found joy in her relationships within the congregation. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate family; she had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued, treating others with warmth and generosity.

Shopping was not only a pastime for Jerrie; it was a passion that brought her joy. She looked forward to every shopping trip, embracing the experience with enthusiasm. A lover of reading, she found solace and adventure within the pages of countless books, further illustrating her curious spirit.

Jerrie’s parents, Harold E. Henderson and Glenda E. (Suggs) Henderson, as well as her husband, Joseph W. Crews, precede her in death. Together, they shaped the values she cherished, which she ultimately passed on to her family.

Jerrie Lynn Crews will be remembered not just for the love she had for those around her but also for her ability to uplift everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to the people she loved.

Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later date.
