John White Worthington, II, age 74 of Vernon, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at his home in Vernon.
Born Thursday, June 21, 1951 in Vernon, Florida, he was the son of the late George Worthington and the late Annie Campbell Worthington.
Surviving are daughter, Jordon May of Vernon, FL, sister, George Ann Burlison of Bonifay, FL; 5 grand children.
Along with his parents, Mr. Worthington is preceded in death by son, Jonah Worthington, brothers, Daniel Wallace and Geryl Worthington, sisters, Lois Dykes and Lorine Haney.
A Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Caryville, FL with Sims Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel.
