On July 5, 2026, Kayley Denise Johnson entered the presence of her Savior.
She was born October 22, 1997, in Greenville North Carolina to Dewayne and Wendy Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Zachary Allen Wheeler and her Papa, John Burnett. Kayley could excitedly tell a story, not leaving out one detail and we can only imagine the story she would be telling us today of all she has seen and heard already. Kayley’s life is a testimony of the goodness of God. This is but a temporary parting for those who know Jesus as their Savior, we will see her again. She was proud of the challenges she overcame and wanted everyone to join her in victorious living.
Kayley always petite in stature, loved her family fiercely, and was loyal to those she called friend. She was a protector of those she loved, and we saw that grow even more when she became a wife and then a mother to her 4 beautiful children. She worked continuously to create a home of peace, love, and comfort. She went from bragging she couldn’t even boil water, to sharing pictures of homemade chocolate chip cookies and bread with her circle, sharing the recipes and encouraging if she could do it we all could do it.
Kayley will be missed by her family who will continue to share her love and stories until we meet again.
