Kennith “George” Kirkland, 71 of Graceville, passed away, Monday, April 14, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Georgia May 1, 1953, to the late Nathan and Katreeane Davis Kirkland.
George was a gifted painter who specialized in painting homes and businesses. He especially enjoyed being on the water, fishing, his houseboat and had many a fish tale to tell. He was a longtime member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Brenda, two brothers James and Roy.
He is survived by his wife Paula, two daughters Jami Brown (Chris), Kori Cailleteau, ten grandchildren, sister Kathy Bruner, special nephews Jason Kirkland (Candice), Jeremy Kirkland, several other nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of His Life will be held 4 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Adams officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
