Born Friday, July 29, 1960 in St. Petersburg, Florida, he was the son of the late James Mathis and the late Beatrice Fouty Mathis.
Surviving is his wife, Lois Smith Mathis of Caryville, FL, son, Randy Grulke of Lake wales, FL, daughters, Renee Grulke of Caryville, FL and Marilyn Britton of Tallahassee, FL, brother, Danny Mathis of New Port Richey, FL, sisters, Debra Lezak of Spring Hill, FL, Terry Kaiser of Perry , FL and Puggy Blankenship of Marietta, GA; 4 grand children, James Grulke, Joey Grulke, Aidan Mullins, Kloe Mullins.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Mashburn officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel.
