Lillian Luverne Bush, 84 of Vernon, Florida went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2025 at Life Care Center of Pensacola.
Luverne was born on December 18, 1940, in Vernon, Florida, to Jack E. Haddock and Annie Bell Curlee. She was a woman of deep faith, Luverne was a devoted member of Wausau Assembly of God. She found joy in spending time in the kitchen, where she loved cooking for those she cared about. Above all, her greatest love was her family, whom she cherished deeply.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Sidney C. Bush; parents: Jack and Annie Bell Haddock; brothers: Cecil Haddock, Helton Haddock, Wilton Haddock, Elton Haddock; sisters: Ola Mae Haddock, Lena Pippin, Lucille Odom, Myrtle Guy Hodges, Videll Dykes.
She is survived by her daughters: Julia LeRoy (Michael) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Michelle McAllister (Charles) of Warner Robins, GA; brothers: Carlton Haddock, Clifton Haddock, Donald Haddock (Joann), Preston Haddock (Judy); sister: Joyce Summers; grandchildren: Benjamin Ganus (Christina), Brittany Wennan (Daniel), Megan Rodriquez (Thomas), Emily McAllister (Daniel); great grandchildren: Thomas Travis, Owen Travis, Daisy Travis, Olivia Rodriquez, Oliver Ganus, Elijah Rodriquez.
Service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday July 9, 2025 at Wausau Assembly of God in Wausau, Florida with Bro. Preston Haddock and Bro. Danny Burns officiating. Interment will follow in Haddock Cemetery in Chipley, Florida with Bro. James Earl Guy officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
