Mark A. Derosia, 61 of Chipley, Florida, passed away on February 18, 2026. Born on December 20, 1964, in Fontana, California, to Edward and Wanda Derosia. Mark was a beloved brother and friend.
Mark attended Vinita High School, where he graduated from. Mark worked at Sunny Hills Golf Course in Chipley, Florida
Mark moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1980, where he met his soulmate. They moved to Chipley in 2001.
After moving to Chipley, Mark started his own successful landscaping business while also obtaining his realtor’s license.
Mark was known as a very well-liked person. He loved to garden, take nature walks, sit and watch the sunset, spend endless amounts of time with his girls (Dogs: Dime and Lize), and lay out in the yard and stare at the stars. Mark also loved to play drums and listen to Rock and Roll, Watch Nascar Racing, also loved to watch his 49ers and Florida Gators.
Mark is survived by his brothers: Eddie (Billie) Derosia of Texas, Will (Donna) Derosia of Oklahoma, John (Kim) of Chipley, Florida; many nieces and nephews and his dogs: Dime and Lizzy.
He was preceded in death by his Father: Edward Derosia; mother: Wanda Derosia.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 PM Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Sunny Hills Golf Course Maintenance Department. Obert Funeral Home and Whispering Pines Crematory in Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
