Marsha Hopkins Vickery, 77 of Covington, Georgia, formerly of Cottondale, Florida went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Marsha was born on July 4, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia to Edward Marshall Hopkins and Willa Sue Huff. Marsha bred and raised horses for many years. She loved to spend her time outdoors, camping and fishing. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Ed and Sue Hopkins; husband: Kenneth Eugene Vickery; son: Michael Vickery; grandchild: Mathyis Kelly.
She is survived by her sons: Scott Suttles (Stephanie) of Covington, GA, Glen Vickery of Chipley, FL; daughters: Melissa Lewis of Panama City Beach, FL, Jeanie Vickery of Chipley, FL, Debbie Lark (Jimmy) of Panama City, FL, Dana Kelly (John) of Chipley, FL; sister: Mary Sikes (John); grandchildren: Cody Lewis (Taylor), Harley Lewis (Charlie), Laci Davis (Hunter), Lacon Norman (Tyler), Tyler Suttles, Tina Vickery, Kyle Vickery, Allan Vickery (Emma), Skylar Dominguez, Ashlyn Dominguez, Jerz Kelly; great grandchildren: Braxton Burrus, Brinleigh Davis, Grayson Davis, Laynee Davis, Wrenley Norman, Briar Norman, Lane Anderson, Zane Anderson, Kelia Vickery, Grayson Vickery, Stella Vickery, Nova Gainnie.
Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 9,2025 at Obert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dallas Pettis officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to Obert Funeral Home Chapel (731 Kirkland Road).
