Mary Mirle Parrett, age 87, of Bonifay, Florida passed away October 28, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 7, 1938, in Geneva, Alabama. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Fate Wells, her mother, Alma Mattie Howell Wells, two children, Glenda Wells and Ray Canady, five brothers, Hertis Wells, Q.P. Wells, Verlon Wells, Ogrey Wells, and Selma Wells, and two sisters, Thelma Wells and Bernice Wells.
Ms. Parrett is survived by two daughters, Julia Oldham and husband Eugene of Bonifay, FL and Judy Gaskill of Panama City, FL; one son, Bobby Canady of Bonifay, FL; 21 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
