Mary Roberta Harrell, 63 of Pace, Florida passed from this life on July 7, 2026 at Baptist Health in Pensacola, Florida, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born on January 30, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, to Frederick and Mary McEvoy. She had a servant’s heart, and her love language was acts of service. Mary found joy in helping others and dedicated many years of her life to home health care. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who knew her as “Gma.” She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Frederick and Mary McEvoy; sons: Jason Harrell, Jonathan Harrell; brother: Jim McEvoy; sister: Ann Goshi.
She is survived by her husband: Gary Wayne Harrell of Pace, Florida; sons: Jeffrey “Jeff” Allen Harrell (Mindy) of Pace, FL, Bryan Matthew Harrell (Fiancé Karli) of Milton, Florida; brothers: Fred McEvoy of Michigan, Tom McEvoy (Debbie) of Michigan, Chuck McEvoy (Linda)of Kentucky; sisters: Theresa Szarama (Jerry) of Michigan, Betty McEvoy of Michigan; grandchildren: Ryleigh Harrell, Emma Harrell, Samuel Harrell, Connor Harrell, Kyndall Harrell, MyKayla Harrell, Bailey Harrell.
Services will be held 2 PM Friday, July 17, 2026 at Obert Funeral Home Chapel in Chipley, Florida. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Sunny Hills, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
