The Mexico Beach Gumbo Cook-Off is expected to draw hundreds of locals and visitors, making it one of the area’s signature community events of the season.

Members of the media are invited to attend. Interviews, additional details, and participation information are available upon request.
The event will feature two cooking divisions — Business and Individual — with FREE entry and cash prizes $1,500 for first place, $750 for second, and $375 for third place. In addition to the main awards, judges and attendees will recognize teams with People’s Choice, Best Team Spirit, and Best Decorated Booth honors.
All proceeds benefit the 4th of July Fireworks Show for Mexico Beach.
