Monumental Victory for Republican Party as Miami-Dade County Decisively Flips to Republican Stronghold

Posted on May 23, 2025

First, In a monumental victory for the Republican Party, Miami-Dade County has decisively flipped to a Republican stronghold, obliterating its long-standing status as a Democratic fortress in Florida. This seismic shift in voter registration marks a historic rout of the left’s grip on the county

Once a liberal citadel, Miami-Dade’s transformation is a stinging rebuke to Democrats. In 2016, Hillary Clinton coasted to a 30-point victory here, but the GOP’s relentless focus on freedom, prosperity, and resistance to radical Democratic socialism has turned the tide. Cuban and Venezuelan voters, fed up with leftist policies, have flocked to the Republican banner. Governor Ron DeSantis smashed the Democrat stranglehold in 2022, President Donald Trump sealed their defeat in 2024, and Republican candidates steamrolled key local races in November, seizing Sheriff, Supervisor of Elections, Clerk of Court, and Tax Collector.

Next, The House of Represenatives passed the Big Beautiful Bill that provides bigger paychecks for working families and secures the borders while no democrat voted for the bill.

Democrats consistently work against the best interests of the American people, and their actions prove it. Not a single Democrat supported President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, a comprehensive measure designed to let Floridians keep more of their hard-earned money, drive robust economic growth, strengthen border security, bolster national defense, cut wasteful spending, and protect essential safety nets. It’s no surprise the American people rejected their agenda last November. Shockingly, Florida Democrats like Jared Moskowitz and Darren Soto continue to ignore the needs of Floridians, choosing political games over progress. The American people gave President Trump a clear mandate last November to deliver on the priorities in this bill, and Florida Republicans will keep fighting for our state’s residents.
