National Hurricane Center Advises Low Chance of Slow Tropical Development in Gulf of America

NHC has outlooked a low chance (10%) of slow tropical development in the north-central Gulf over the next couple of days. Impacts around the Northeast Gulf Coast will be limited to:

Locally heavy rain Wednesday PM through Thursday, Marine and beach hazards on Thursday and Friday.

No wind or coastal flooding impacts are expected onshore for the NE Gulf Coast. Check back over the next couple of days for updates.
